Las exploraciones dentro de Arts & Culture partieron de la idea de que el arte y la cultura del futuro estarán profundamente influenciados por la longevidad, la tecnología y la transformación de la memoria colectiva. El equipo exploró ideas relacionadas con artistas eternos, obras vivas, experiencias culturales inmersivas, archivos emocionales, reinterpretaciones constantes del pasado y sistemas donde la creación artística evoluciona en tiempo real junto con las personas y sus emociones. También surgieron reflexiones sobre autenticidad, nostalgia, identidad, saturación cultural y el valor de lo efímero dentro de sociedades donde prácticamente todo puede preservarse digitalmente.
A lo largo del proceso apareció constantemente la idea de que el futuro del arte no dependerá únicamente de nuevas tecnologías o formatos, sino de su capacidad para seguir generando significado emocional y conexión humana. Esto llevó al equipo a consolidar propuestas donde cultura, memoria y experiencia se fusionan para crear sistemas artísticos dinámicos, mutables y profundamente personales, imaginando futuros donde el arte funciona como una extensión viva de la identidad colectiva e individual.

The explorations within Arts & Culture began with the idea that the future of art and culture will be deeply shaped by longevity, technology, and the transformation of collective memory. The team explored ideas related to eternal artists, living artworks, immersive cultural experiences, emotional archives, constant reinterpretations of the past, and systems where artistic creation evolves in real time alongside people and their emotions. Reflections also emerged around authenticity, nostalgia, identity, cultural saturation, and the value of ephemerality within societies where almost everything can be digitally preserved.
Throughout the process, a recurring idea appeared around the notion that the future of art will not depend solely on new technologies or formats, but on its ability to continue generating emotional meaning and human connection. This ultimately led the team toward proposals where culture, memory, and experience merge to create dynamic, mutable, and deeply personal artistic systems, imagining futures where art functions as a living extension of both collective and individual identity.
AFTERIMAGE
AFTERIMAGE es un proyecto que propone una solución innovadora ante un futuro donde los conflictos globales provocan la destrucción del arte físico y la pérdida de la memoria cultural de la humanidad.
Frente a este problema, AFTERIMAGE plantea la creación del primer museo “post-destrucción”, una infraestructura global que utiliza inteligencia artificial, archivos digitales y tecnologías inmersivas para reconstruir, revivir y experimentar obras de arte que ya no existen físicamente.
El sistema recopila información como escaneos 3D, fotografías, contexto histórico y procesos creativos, para recrear las obras en tres niveles: visual, espacial y narrativo. A través de una interfaz inmersiva, los visitantes no solo observan el arte, sino que lo experimentan, pudiendo interactuar con las obras, entender su historia e incluso “entrar” en ellas.
Además de preservar el patrimonio cultural, AFTERIMAGE funciona como una plataforma para museos, educación e investigación, con un modelo de negocio basado en tickets, licencias y programas académicos.

AFTERIMAGE is a project that proposes an innovative solution for a future in which global conflicts lead to the destruction of physical art and the loss of humanity’s cultural memory.
In response to this scenario, AFTERIMAGE envisions the creation of the first “post-destruction” museum — a global infrastructure that uses artificial intelligence, digital archives, and immersive technologies to reconstruct, revive, and experience artworks that no longer physically exist.
The system gathers information such as 3D scans, photographs, historical context, and creative processes in order to recreate artworks across three levels: visual, spatial, and narrative. Through an immersive interface, visitors do not simply observe the art, but actively experience it — interacting with the works, understanding their histories, and even “entering” them.
Beyond preserving cultural heritage, AFTERIMAGE also functions as a platform for museums, education, and research, supported by a business model based on ticketing, licensing, and academic programs.
